Container Update: Temporary Pause Due to Global Situation

Hey everyone,

we want to give you an important update regarding our container shipments – and unfortunately, this time it’s not great news.

Due to the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East – triggered by recent developments involving Donald Trump – we are forced to pause work on the next container for now.

💸 What’s the issue?

There are two major factors at play:

1. Exploding oil prices
Shipping costs have increased dramatically. At these levels, container shipping is simply no longer economically viable.

2. Safety and insurance risks
There’s also a second, even more serious factor:
As long as cargo ships on open seas can potentially be targeted by missile attacks, insurance costs skyrocket – or coverage is no longer available at all.

This all means, that a container that would normally cost between €5,000 and €10,000 is now sitting at over €30,000.

This means that even if we accepted the high shipping costs, the overall risk would still be too high to justify.

🙏 What does this mean for you?

  • The next container will not be launched for now
  • We’re truly sorry about the delay – but this is completely outside of our control
  • We are monitoring the situation closely and will act immediately once things stabilize

⚠️ Important note

Please understand that from now on, we will no longer respond to individual inquiries asking “when the next container will start.”

Not because we want to ignore you – but because handling these requests currently consumes a significant amount of resources that we urgently need elsewhere.

As soon as there’s any update, you’ll hear it here on the blog first.

🚄 Good news: Direct shipping still works

Our direct shipping (via rail) is NOT affected by the current situation and continues to run reliably.

So if you’re not dependent on container shipping, this is currently the safest and most predictable option.

🧭 What’s next?

As soon as the situation improves and container transport becomes economically and safely viable again, we will provide an update immediately.

Until then, we kindly ask for your patience – and sincerely thank you for your continued support. ❤️

Ah ok.
