From the sprawling floating castle wrapped in clouds to the bustling mine town below, every layer feels like a scene lifted directly from the film.
Pazu and Sheeta soar peacefully through the clouds while Dola and her colorful air pirates circle around the ancient kingdom aboard the Tiger Moth and various flying machines. The detailed railway tracks, mine cart, rustic buildings, and hovering battleship create a world so alive, you can almost hear Joe Hisaishi’s soundtrack playing in the distance.
The centerpiece, of course, is Laputa itself — crowned with its iconic giant tree and surrounded by drifting clouds that give the statue an almost gravity-defying presence.
